Pakistani Federal Minister for Information Technology (IT) and Telecommunication Syed Aminul Haque, while chairing the 47th Board of Directors meeting of Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) said that software technology parks were being constructed as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). With the inception of these parks, Pakistan will see significant growth in digital exports.
ISLAMABAD, September 21(Gwadar Pro)—Pakistani Federal Minister for Information Technology (IT) and Telecommunication Syed Aminul Haque said on Monday afternoon that software technology parks were being constructed as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Chairing the 47th Board of Directors meeting of Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) here, Haque said CPEC had transformed Pakistan.
The meeting discussed matters related to IT exports, setting up of Software technology parks and registration of freelancers.
Managing Director PSEB Osman Nasir briefed the chair on projects and targets of PSEB for the Financial Year (FY) 2021-22.
Federal Minister for IT directed PSEB management to complete all projects in a transparent manner. He also appreciated PSEB’s initiatives. The meeting also approved PSEB’s budget of Pakistani Rs 382.263 million for FY 2021-22.
The meeting was apprised that PSEB will charge no registration fee to freelancers for one year. Secretary IT Dr Sohail Rajput and Chairman
